All About This Brand-New Event

The Washington Invasive Species Council and Western Invasives Network are proud to introduce the first annual Coastal Invasive Species and Exotic Pest Workshop! This all-day (9 a.m. – 3 p.m.), cross-training event is funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service Plant Protection and Quarantine. Attendees will have the unique opportunity to network with regional colleagues, learn successes and challenges with management, and become familiar with new invasive species on the horizon. This event is modeled after the wildly successful Columbia Gorge Invasive Species and Exotic Pest Workshop, which is heading into its 12th iteration in April 2023. Many thanks to the Columbia Gorge Cooperative Weed Management Area and partners for all of their work raising awareness of invasive species and paving the way for others!

Washington State Department of Agriculture and Oregon Department of Agriculture recertification credits are anticipated for attendees (pending approval).

The cost to attend this event is $60, and lunch will be provided.
